    Hi
I am planning to do Scuba Diver course in Lagos Portugal while on Holiday.
Planning to do this with my daughter who is just 13
If she really takes to it we may then extend to do the open water course
I was looking at doing this in Dive Time who are located in the Marina in Lagos
has anyone got any experience with this company. having a 13 year old my number one priority is safety

    thanks

    hi ghostrider.

Best thing to do re: safety is to check out the comapanies credentials. A quick google shows me that they are a 5star IDC centre, which is a great start. This means that they run instructor courses. Not that thats any use to you, but it should re-assure you that they've had to meet certain criteria to get there. During your course you'll have ample time to talk to your instructor and find out their dive history and experience. I suspect you should have no problems tho :)

    Enjoy!

    Hi

Myself and the wife did a 2 dive package (we did our Open Water 2 years agoand have done a couple of dives since) with Dive Time in Lagos last week. Have to say, I found them good. Very by the book - I would say you will have no problems on the safety front. Had an instructor called Eddy and he was pretty good.

Only problem was that their 2 boats were temporarily broken so we had to drive to Portimao to pick up a boat but their boats will presumably be sorted by the time you get there.

    Best of luck.
