So with the Championship about to start what are your hopes and fears for your County and club.
    County: Westmeath
    Football:
Hopes: Obviously win Leinster preferably beating Meath in the Semi-Final, but unfortunately I can’t see it happening, as a bad League campaign tends to lead to a bad championship for us.
Fears: Humiliation in Portlaois by either Longford or Wicklow in the quarter-finals, followed by an ignominious defeat in the qualifiers, this is very likely to happen.
    Hurling:
Hopes: Win the Christy Ring Cup in front of a decent crowd at a decent venue.
Fears: Don’t win the Christy Ring Cup, Carlow will be hard to beat.
    Club:
Win a county Senior final. Having lost 6 finals in the last 5 years including both Football and Hurling last year by a point, I don’t think I could handle that again ,am hopeful we will win the Hurling this year.

If your county were a business what would it be?
Westmeath: a bank, shares were good around February last year, but have plummeted since.

    Tipperary

Football: Hopes - Reah a provincial fianal and be competitive in same.
Fears - that with the suprise element gone we will flatter to deceive

Hurling: Hopes - Retain munster, someone else catches KK nad we claim the AI.
Fears - Get caught in the Rebel backlash and then stumble through the qualifiers only to be anialated by KK

If Tipp GAA were a business it would be a Hoare House - full of promise and easy on the eye stuff but ultimately leaves you feeling cheated and empty and dissapointed. ;)

    County: Offaly

    Hurling:
Hopes: Beat Wexford, avoid Kilkenny in the Semi Final, Meet Galway in the Leinster Final and become Leinster Champions for the 1st time since 1995.

Fears: Defeat to Wexford and a hammering from Cork in the Qualifiers

    Football:

Hopes: A good showing in Leinster and some striong performances in the qualifiers
    Fears: Annihilation

    Club:
Get through the Junior 'B' championship group into the knockout stages

If Offaly were a Business/Chocolate Bar, they would be a Wispa - at their peak in the 80 & 90's, dissapeared and now on the verge of re-emerging :D

    County: Wexford

    Football
Hopes: Leinster championship, then a good run after that

Fears: Lose to Kildare in the first round and then a first round exit in the qualifiers

    Hurling
Hopes: Leinster final (or championship) and then a good run after that

Fears: Lose to Offaly and then in the first round of the qualifiers

    County: Waterford

    Hurling
Hopes: Win Munster and be competitive in an All-Ireland final, whoever we face.
Fears: Justin McCarthy gets the better of us in June and get destroyed by Kilkenny sometime in the summer, again.

    Football
Hopes: Transfer our league form to the Championship and give Cork a run for their money.
Fears: All the good work achieved in the past 3 months would be blown out to window after 70 minutes against the Rebels.

If Waterford hurling were a business, they'd be an amusement park. Absolutely buzzing with life and activity in the summer months, gives you some of the best moments of the year, and then disappears off the face of the earth in September.

    County - Dublin

    Football
Hopes - Too easy to say All-Ireland success, which inevitably will not happen. But getting by Meath, 5 Leinsters in a row and a decent scalp in the quarters (Kerry or Tyrone) would be satisfactory. Also a decent run by the minors is definitely required.
Fears - Ease through Leinster with no real challenge and get annihilated in the quarters.

    Hurling
Hopes - That we eventually reach our potential and affirm our position as the 2nd best team in Leinster. An All-Ireland quarter-final would not be beyond us. Decent minor team as well this year will be vying for provincial honours.
Fears - Lose narrowly to Kilkenny/Galway/Offaly/Wexford in a Leinster semi-final and get the usual patronising media view that Dublin should take a moral victory, before losing narowly in the qualifiers to Cork, Waterford etc..

    Club
Won an All-Ireland football title this year, so couldn't really ask for more on that side. Also got to a county hurling final last year, so winning one with a team that's comprised of local lads and not full of blow-ins would be desireable.
Personally, I'd take more pride in winning a Junior D football championship or a Junior B hurling championship.:)

    Job
Probably be a washed to Rock band. Still think we're good, have loyal support from back in the day, haven't had any hits in years and always find ourselves playing on stage 2 in major festivals!

    Limerick

    Hurling..
Hopes: Let Justin McCarthy Get His Revenge On Waterford And kick them outta munster and win a munster title maybe;)
Fears: Lose To The Deise And let last year repeat itself like when offaly kicked us out in the 1st round of the qualifiers:(

    Football..
Hopes: Get To A Munster Final :D
Fears: Get Beat By Tipp And Come Crashing Out At Qualifier Stage Not Getting A Glimpse Of Croker..

    as for club.. *no comment*

if limerick were a business, limerick would be a business that would go far but never reap the rewards.. theres no business really like this so limerick must be a special business =)

    County: Limerick

    Hurling
Hopes: Justin to get one over on Waterford and to give us a day out in Semple Stadium in July.

Fears: That the league promise shown will count for nothing and we tamely lose to Waterford and bow out early from the qualifiers.

    Football
Hopes: That we can put relegation to the back of our minds and beat Tipp and Clare and have a day out in the sun on the 5th of July down in Killarney or Cork.

Fears: Defeat to Tipp in the first round and then the inevitable away draw to some Northern team and a hiding in the Qualifiers.

    Club
Hopes:That we can win our Division in the Junior A championship and build up a run of form and push for a place in Intermediate.

Fears: All the young talent will count for nothing and another year wasted.

If Limerick were a Business we would probably be an airline like Aer Lingus. Looks good from the outside but always the suspicion that there will be a dispute with management down the line to end up in the national media.

    Dublin

    Football

Hopes - Win Leinster and at least get to a semi-final taking revenge on some certain teams in a quarter final such as Mayo,Armagh or Tyrone.Beating Tyrone is highest on the list.

Fears - Get caught out in Leinster by Meath or Kildare but my biggest fear is winning Leinster and getting hammered again in the pissing by either Tyrone or Derry or Kerry.

    Hurling

Hopes - Obvioulsy win Leinster but I would be very satisfied if we Beat Antrim, beat Wexford,Offaly or Galway and make it to the Leinster Final and put up a good showing like the display against Kilkenny in the last three league encounters where we nearly had them.

Fears - Bumping into Wexford and not excorcising last years ghosts.Letting a team like Wexford or Limericj slip through our fingers with some terrible wides. Also getting beat by Galway in Leinster.Farcical.

    Club

Football - Take revenge on Kilmacud Crokes in the football and regain the Club All Ireland.Fears are meeting Oliver Plunketts Eoghan Ruadh and get destroyed by Bernard Brogan and Nesty McGrath.

Hurling - Dethrone Ballyboden St Endas from their perch in Dublin and get to the all ireland series beating Oulart the Ballagh and Birr along the way.

If Dublin were a business they would be Ryanair. You know you are in for a nice take-off but the flight usually gets very turbulent and the landing can be quite uncomfortable.Usually followed by everybody stepping over you to get ahead of you to get out.

    Cork

    Football

Hopes - Beat Kerry in Munster (quite possible) and then put a few ghosts to rest by beating them in Croke Park in the semi or even better in the final if we make it. I can only dream i guess.

Fears - Expectation of Cork to win an All Ireland. Kerry beating us in Croke Park again...wont go down well. Cork messing up against weaker sides like they do from time to time.

    Hurling

Hopes - That we get revenge and catch KK off guard and pull out a shock win ( would be as good as winning any all Ireland)

Fears - Not winning a Munster title again this year.
Meeting KK in the semi final.

    Club

    We wont go there.

Hopes - Donegal for Ulster. No better chance than this year given the draw and the fact that Karl Lacey is on his way back. w00t

    Damn I'm predictable. :D

    GALWAY
    Football
-Hopes: Beat Mayo and win the Connacht Championship without peaking too soon. Getting to an All-Ireland Final :D
-Fears: Losing in Connact and facing a strong Nothern team like Tyrone or Derry with a poor midfield.

    Hurling
-Hopes: Win Leinster beating Killkenny on route. Winning the All-Ireland beating Cork :D
-Fears: Meeting a strong Killkenny team in the Leinster semi-final and starting back where we've always been for some time.... Qualifiers :(

    Club
**** it we have no chance, well the u-15 look good this year

    County -Kerry

    Football
Hopes - Win Munster and All Ireland beating Cork the Dubs and Tyrone on the way (wow im predictable)
Fears - Get beaten by Cork and then Tyrone in the Qually's

    Hurling
Hopes - Have we been dropped to the Nicky Rackard yet? Hmm, well then I hope we win a game or two and don't get disgraced against Westmeath or Carlow or some of those other mighty Hurling powerhouses.
Fears - Bottom of the league, 0 points -56 (or so) points diff... can't really get much worse then that.

Club: Kerry Novice Championship and Promotion bacj to Division 3. Come on Na Gaeil :P

Job: If Kerry were a business, we would be McDonalds: No matter how much people hate us, we'll always be there and we'll always be successful.

    No and no!!!!!:D:D
Fears for Kerry- that although we have found a good few new options, none of them seem to be a massive improvement on what we already had.
Had great expectations for David Moran and am still hoping that he steps it up. I still think if we were to meet Tyrone that their work rate would turn us over.

    County: Limerick

Hopes: That we get to the Munster Final and beat Cork down in cork(they will beat kerry).

Fears: Defeat to Tipp in the first round and then get an away draw in the qualifiers and loose that.

    Club
Hopes: Hope that my club can win the intermediate hurling this year.
