is heroes season two worth buying? i loved series one, missed the start of season two so said i would wait until DVD but since heard it is crap. Its 16.99 on play.com today so want the wisdom of the board...

and is series three any good? is it worth perservering with series 2 to be up to date with series 3????

Add to that I have series 3,4 and 5 of the wire in the post so it would need to be worth it to be considered for viewing with these!

Should i buy heroes season 2 for €17 4 votes

Heroes is class! Even when it's bad it's good.

Give it to me ahead of any reality show crap.

Do yourself a favour, and stop watching while you still think it's great. Season two was a pile of poo. Three was nothing special, but the end was absolutely terrible.

Save your money, try and catch repeats on TV.

Season 2 is horrible, slow...it goes NOWHERE. Seriously....avoid it and buy series 3.

To be honest i liked season 2 and have nothing bad to report of it.

Season 3 on the other hand, is a big pile of dog vomit.

Oh dear, so many conflicting responses, i'm thinking of quitting while I'm ahead and keeping the good memories of series one.

If three is better and worth watching, surely I would miss a lot by skipping two???

    hidden results *mutters to himself*

dont bother watching it your talking about allot a fair few episodes and a decent but of your time -invest it in a worth while show and when the next season rolls around ask the questions again about 3 or 4 episodes in - its its gotten bettwe then get stuck into it.

Series 2 suffered from a very slow start - by the 7th episode it had finally gained some momentum, but then got cut short and finished at the 11th episode.

Series 3 was a mixed bag, at best. Volume 3 (Villains) was pretty bad and involved a load of attempts to change what had already been established in Series One or present it in a new context that just didn't work, and Volume 4 was so bad I stopped watching a couple of episodes in.

Personally, I'd say quit with Series One, it seems to have been a fluke that it worked out as well as it did.
