    just went to the cinema with a mate....at the end i got up to go and my purse had been nicked out :mad: i'm beyond livid,has just taken 150quid out that i ower my mam, and my bag was at my feet the whole time. the cinema was almost empty too,making it worse that i was probably sitting near the scumbag!!!!

    has anyone else got similar stories?

    Probably a stupid question, but did you check that it didnt fall out of your bag? I mean you say the cinema was empty. It might have fallen out and you kicked it under the chair.

    Thought this happened to me once, but went back in after film and had a good search around - found it down in between two seats (my wallet)

    Also know someone else who had a similar thing, but someone (probably staff) had helped themselves to it.

    i looked under all the nearby seats,crawled under and everything (my knees are now sticky!!)grr just cancelled my laser card.....

    Are you sure you didn't spend it....cinema is pretty expensive these days.

    I know a bloke who had his bike nicked at the cinema so there is always someone worse off than you.

    A mate of mine used to work in "the cinema" wont be specific and
    they had a problem with stuff constantly being stolen for a while.

    One night in the middle of a movie, a girl felt something brush against
    her leg, looked down and here was this fat bastard with his hand in
    her handbag. He had being going to films and crawled in between the
    seats nicking stuff in the dark. :mad:

    Never had the problem myself. (Use a wallet :))

    Out one night was at a fancy dress party and had a massive bee hive wig on with little clips and stuff stuck in it, was half dozing on a couch waiting for my cab and heard a girl behind me say 'oh her hairclips were cute, wish I had ones like that', her bf reached into my hair to take them for her. :o

    I was working in a school in Newcastle West about 4 or 5 years ago and had to stay in a B&B in the town that night so had a bag with me. My phone went dead that night so I put it in the bag. When I went on site the next morning I left my bag in a corner and got to work. After I was finished and went back home I opened the bag and the phone was gone. :mad:
