Anyone on here know anyone or have any advice on how to get into this industry. Would be great if there was someone on here who works in this line of work to hear what they have to say. Advice like who's hiring, and is it hard to get a start with no experience.

i do a bit of tunnelling myself , hard work and i mean navvie work, your best bet is murphys ,they are full time tunnelling ,there yard is in newbridge co kildare,

you could be sent anywhere in the world with them tunnelling , but normally ireland and uk in uk normally london around the thames river, thats where the big holes are.

and although you have nil qualifications at it its not rocket science ,you would get the hang of it after a few days ,and you will sleep soundly at night for the first 6 months because you will be wrecked tired

and water is your worst enemy when your under ground remember that
