Is it possible to buy a piece of kit/vopip fone which will plug directly into your BB router and then put the same piece of kit in another location attacted to another BB router and make voice calls with out the need of having an account with the likes of blueface etc?.

Laptop or pc with a mic?

Blueface to blueface calls are free, it doesn't cost anything to open an account with Blueface, You can open an account without signing up for a plan, You can then add credit like a mobile phone on a "Pay as You go plan" (if You want, just don't bother). You could also use skype phones as skype to skype is also free

Thanks PMT. I was hoping to take the pc out of the loop and just have BB router/ small type box(router size or smaller) running its own software plugged into BB router/voip phone plugged into small box.

I know there is kit like Linksys Pap2 ata which I presume plugs into your BB router. But am I right in saying to phone someone else for free with this sort of setup I would need an accout with a voip supplier?

    Thanks

Yes, but like I said, accounts don't cost You anything. just setup 2 accounts and don't put any credit in them or sign up for a package
