Crash Course in F11 Returns..

    Hi,

I am a part qualified ACCA student, I have worked in Industry for many years as a FC. Always large limited companies where a firm of auditors came in, looked at our accounts & calculated Tax Returns.

Well due to redundancy and a general need to be my own boss, I am now advertising as an accountant/bookeeper. Trouble is I have no direct experience completimg tax returns for sole traders. Now dont get me wrong I know the basics, and I am working part time in a company getting accounts ready for tax calculations. Trouble is the partners are too busy to spend time with me showing me how to calculate these returns.

So does anyone know of a crash course that would go over the basics of F11 returns, for fairly straightforward accounts. I would love to be able to confidently assist clients with this instead of running scared- even though I am a fast learner and could probably work it out....

If no one knows of a course, would anybody be willing to spend a couple hours with me to go over this area? I would of course pay you!! I just feel that this would help me greatly with my new business ventures...

    Thanks anyone in advance.

    Hi Ya

There is a good course run by the ITI which I would recommend its the TMITI which they are now doing over the summer months. It will help you no end.

Also you want to watch out, as I dont think ACCA take to kindly to students offering accountancy services when they arent qualified, bookkeeping is fine but not calling yourself an Accountant. Just to make you aware of it.

I did the TMITI course, pm me if you have any questions
