Car insurance quoted - too good to be true?

Hi - I just got a quote from chill.ie which is 200 euro cheaper than what I've been quoted by the insurance company I was with. What do you need to check?!

Has anyone had to make a claim - what are they like to deal with? Any advice please - of course I am just dying to save the money but I'm cautious it's too good to be true. Need to finalise before 6pm to avail of offer.. hence the anxiety!!

    Help/advice appreciated!

They're just a broker. If you have to claim, you'll be dealing directly with the actual insurance company, not chill.ie, which could be Axa, Hibernian, Allianz, etc.

in the event that you need to make a claim, please contact your insurance company directly. In order to make the claims process as easy as possible for you, please find all insurance company contact details below.

    Edit:

Actually, you'll be dealing with Motor Assist, who seem to handle your claim with the relevant insurance company on your behalf

what you need to check is that you're comparing like with like. Does the insurance policy that they're offering yopu for 200 euro less than your current one offer the same cover and features (breakdown, windscreen cover, excess, etc) as your current policy?

If so, then it's a good deal.

As far as I can tell it's the same comprehensive basic package - no frills (assitance etc.) it does cover windscreen and the excess is 350 as opposed to 300 with previous insurer.

I guess it's go with it so?! Thanks for your reply!
