Phoenix Park Bike Trails?

    Hi,
    Is there anywhere in the Phoenix with a half decent trail?

    I dont drive so i'm limited to cycling around Dublin, went to Bushy Park last week but it was a little busy with walkers/loose dogs to pick up any speed.
    Anyone got recommendations for Dublin Trails?

    When I was a kid I used to bring my BMX down there. I used to go down by magazine hill. It's near the Wellington Monument on the back roads.

    There are a huge number of trails within riding distance of the city centre. The Phoenix Park is OK for a quick blast but it's a bit flat.

    In and around the pond down the furry glen (see how many rent boys you can hit) and the magazine fort are the only areas with anything worth a look.
    Pass an hour or so.
