    Hi,

My situation is ive completed a certificate and a ordinary degree(level 7,old diploma) in 2008 and have taken a year out to work..im planning on going back to college in september as a mature student and enroll on a new 3 year degree(level 8.

I havent applied for funding before...is it true that i will qualify for maintainence grant for the level 8 degree and another 3 years since i have progressed from cert and ord degree.

I live at home with sin gle parent so should be eligible in terms of means but what else can i apply to support me as a full time student going back?

Yes, since you haven't done a level 8 yet, you should be able to get the grant from your local county council.

Check studentfinance.ie for details on the thresholds, etc.
