Don't know if anyone saw this last night but a young Irish lad, Kurtis Byrne, scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Rangers in the Scottish Youth Cup final. Seems to know where the goals are anyway! Would be great to see him break into the Hibs' first team.

He played for a good few LOI and Irish league teams too and always stood out, he was something else on the ball, as good a first touch as you could ever see and could ping the ball 60 yards onto a sixpence.

He was always a bit overweight though and I think had a few discipline/going on the píss too much issues.

Which seems to be a common thread amongst gifted Irish players....?

Gifted Irish People, I don't think it is limited to footballers.

Judging by your sig you get by, think of what you could do without it though!

It's a balancing act - unfortunately, the balance is the first thing to go...
