Star/Ares SL9. I have one, bought it from corkairsoftshop.com. Very fast shipping: ordered it on the Tuesday at 11pm and got it on the Thursday in the post, with a free Guarder Hop up rubber installed. It has full auto and a long barrel for accuracy. ROF on a 9.6 is amazing. Another big advantage is that it can take 470 round G36 mags. The only thing is, you will want a scope with it as it doesn't have iron sights. I skirmished mine at the Gathering and OH MY GOD! Best gun I have ever owned by far. Range, accuracy and ROF are UNBELIEVABLE. Buy this gun and you won't be disappointed!

Electric sniper, well at that price a g&g sr25 could be an option, or the above sl9, or a g&g m14 maybe.

You won't really get an airsoft sniper aeg, even the spring snipers don't have any range or accuracy benefit over a regular aeg, the whole sniping thing in this game is stealth, and a bolt action can be made quiet much more easily than an aeg, which pretty much will never compete sound wise with a spring sniper.

If you just want a marksmans rifle, any aeg would fit the role, once it has a decent barrel and hop up rubber, it will be as accurate as any bolt action sniper.

    ^^^ What he said.

You can't really snipe with an AEG in this country as the power limits will have you on top of each other anyway. Your best bet would be to get something comfortable with a long barrel and use it, as said above, as a marksmans rifle. The G&G rifles mentioned would be a bit above your price range, but are excellent (I use the GR25 myself).
Your best bet is to look for a long rifle, think M16 size, and accurise it yourself with a tightbore barrel, improved hop rubber etc. The SL9 is a good option if you prefer to stay away from Armalite style rifles, as is the Styer or L85 (or any bullpup for that matter).

I wouldnt bother going electric unless we were allowed a higher power limit to make an advantage from it.

Get a TM VSR, its the best bolty out of the box and theres a rake load of things you can do to tune it up even more. its also one of the quietest rifles ive used. :)

Even a 400mm barrel is plenty of accuracy, I havn't measure my ssg barrel length, but I think my ak74 has a longer barrel, 500mm, and fitted with a prometheus barrel, and madbull hop the accuracy and range are great.

Even a longer barrel will offer crap accuracy if your hop isn't good, and if everything isn't clean. I've taken to obsessive cleaning of hop and barrel, even polishing my inner barrels and the results are fantastic.

If you like the idea of a DMR (designated marksmans rifle) anything with a long barrel will suit, but even a medium barrel if its decent and a good hop will give great accuracy, but big thing here, KEEP THEM CLEAN.

Clean the barrel, hop, and make sure mags and bbs and anything along the loading path is clear of gunk and dust, and the results will be great. Any crap in the barrel, and my skorpion, sorry, klobb will out do you on accuracy.
And after polishing the barrel and cleaning everthing up nicely, and using clean ammo, even it gets good accuracy, my rpk, with its 650mm dirty barrel on the other hand, sprays as wildly as a bunker soldier dual wielding klobbs on the easy setting in goldeneye.

If you learn how to take apart your barrel and hop, and clean them well with a clean cloth, swapping it regularly and using a little silicon oil, and ensuring everything, especially the hop is dry afterwards, will give you the best accuracy you can get with an airsoft gun.

just an m16 really, standard 7mm gearbox, normal m16/m4 hop up and standard barrel as far as i can see

I agree, just an M16 with a scope really,
thats not to say it'll be bad though, it just wont really compare with something as quiet as a bolty.
from my experience with King Arms their quality is fantastic but their build quality leaves a little to be desired.

.It looks the part all you need to do is to get the scope and bi-pod as they are separate and the gun has no built in iron sights so a set of BUIS will not go amiss.

    seriously nice piece.

    r u mean from rsov?

is the tax not included ? or what ? dont scare me man

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,641 ✭✭✭zero19

If you buy from outside europe u will be charged extra taxes by the courier your talking about around a quarter of the total price including shipping

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,984 ✭✭✭NakedDex

VAT is 21.5% now. Plus customs charges which is about 3% and whatever handling fee the courier tacks on. Expect to pay 25-26% of the total cost of the order (including shipping) when the delivery arrives at your door. If they take cash on delivery, have change ready. They'll only take the exact amount. Some will only take a cheque. They won't release your delivery to you until it's paid either.
