Will my exam results affect my changing college and course?

I'm planning on going to Galway and doing Arts instead of my current bachelors degree in Maynooth. I don't like this course as much as I thought I would and I really want to change. I've already applied through the cao.

I don't really care about this course and wondering does my failing or passing my exams affect my entrance into another universitry? I'll be working this summer so I'll be paying for college fee's if I change.

If I fail, does this affect my application to NUIG?

    Thanks for any replies.

If you are going to do arts did you not contact NUIG and ask them could you transfer into 2nd art there and then you would not be liable for fees if you transferred if your subjects were compatible or you may have get some exemptions if you pass your exams in NUIM and then your fee liability would be reduced. Remember if you go into 1st year this year you will probably be paying fees for all years of your course but if you could transfer into 2nd year you probably would only be paying the registration fee, it might be worth checking out with Admissions in Galway
