Horseshoe moustache

AARRRGH

I am thinking of shaving off my beard so I have a horseshoe moustache.

I've done this before. I like it, but it defo makes me look like a paedo. This doesn't really bother me, but unfortunately most of society doesn't see the humour in it.

So... horseshoe moustache, yay or nay?!

listen, if it makes you look like a paedo what of it? once you dont go around interfering with kids your grand. just dont expect a great sex life when you have one, except of course if your a rocker and you hand around metal clubs. then you'l probobly get loads of sex.

i say go for it. im 27 and i cant even grow a pair of locks.

Confused buy this thread. It starts out with a horseshoe, goes onto to a handlebar and ends up with a goatee. Do we really have to go back to basics and point out the differences between moustaches, beards and combinations of both?

OP, wearing a horseshoe is fine. Lots of them around. As for the paedo look well what does a paedo look like? People love to pidgeonhole everything and you will always be linked to the most common/well known wearer of any facial hair. Wear a toothbrush and you'll instantly be Hitler. Wear a petit english and you're Hercule Poirot. I myself has the missfortune to be a Col. Sunders because I have a handlebar and goatee combination. You will become Hulk Hogan. These are the slings and taunts we must bear from those who have no greater concept of facial hair then the images TV presents up for them.

Yep, I got called Captain Birdseye when I had my full beard. You just have to ignore them. People fear change and react to it... it's inevitable.

I'd love to grow a horseshoe but I'm always being told by my oh that I just wouldn't keep it neat, I'm currently wearing a goatee that is halfway down my chest and I'm toying with the idea of a Ming the Merciless look
