From the tube of you. As the uploader says, he has no idea where the source if from but it does sounds remarkably polished (for an amateur job) and the album versions usually differ in some way outright from the versions shown on the show.

no its not the one from the episode - there are allot of vids on youtube of people playing Bear's music themselves and some of them are pretty good

Heh, the one from the episde is about a minute long in fairness. The AATW from Season 3 wasn't quite the one we got on the album (shame), ditto the Lords of Kobol (thank god).

I am not saying it IS but the one in the above link hs no source and has much higher production values relative to the hand on keyboard shots from youtube.

ye it was a good find alright - there is one with some guy playing battlestar sonatica on pianno - (theres allot of them) but this one in particular is very good (sorry i dont have the link saved but it was easy to find)

I wouldn't mind getting a better version of all along the watchtower, didn't like the version on the soundtrack.

Agreed. For starters I want it to start off with the amazing riff we hear in Crossroads Part II- i.e. The Riff that kicks in after "....and if I die today...thats the man I'll be".

I'm looking forward to the music that accompanies Starbucks jumping of Galactica to Earth. That was a mix of the piano and guitar tune of Watchtower.
