Dell Vostro 1710 Opinions Please

    Hi folks,

    Going to upgrade my laptop and am looking for something with a 17" screen. Thinking of going for the Dell Vostro.

    It will be used for web design, graphics editing and some gaming - so I'll be going for a higher end model. I'm considering the following:

    - Core 2 Duo T9300 processor
    - NVidia 8600M GS
    - 4GB Ram
    - 320GB, 7200RPM HD

    A couple of questions - am I getting the best bang/buck on the T9300? Is it worth €100 more than the T8200?

    I read in a previous thread there are issues with the nvidia chipset... what are these?

    Would be grateful for opinions.
