There has been many threads started here by guys looking for advice about their hair but there is usually a very low amount of responses. I can understand this as there probably is a lot more girls than guys in the Fashion and Appearance board. But anyways my question, is the any good websites/forums where for guys to get advice on or discuss hairstyles?

Some sources listed below. NOTE, I have not used any of the listed sites so I have no recomendations or warnings about any of them. However they might give you a pointer towards what you desire.
    http://coolmenshair.com/
    http://www.menshairstyles.net/main.php
    http://www.menshairstylesonline.com/
    http://www.hotmenshairstyles.com/
Perhaps the poor response to your question is an indication that you should start a thread or forum discussion about hairstyles, discussing the merrits of any chosen tonsurial masterpiece. I'm sure that the topic would garner some interest either here or over in Facial Hair & Hats forum.
Sadly my shiney bald patch means that I have little of interest and even less advice to bring to such a forum apart from memories of long flowing locks. :(

Cheers, alot some of the links didn't work! Anyone got any other sites, not really looking for sites with these crazy hairstyles, just want to discuss styles with other guys

Its really hard to find websites with "irish" hairstyles for lads... its all crazy asian/american stuff

I probably should have consulted one on Friday seeing I got such a ribbing from my mates on the "clustf&*k" of a haircut I got.

Surely there are some forums like "Fashion & Appearence" out there for guys to discuss hairstyles. I'd love if we could do it F&A but the threads created here get very poor responses

The topic that stirs most responses in F&A (in relation to mens hair) always seems to be the 'Barber or Hairdresser' type debate It usually generates a fair few posts. The OP wants to keep a thread alive for ongoing discussions so the obvious solution is to start a row open a debate.
So OP, to keep this thread alive, tell us which is better, the Barbers cut or the Hairdressers cut?:)

Thanks for the advice! But instead for doing the whole barber/hairdresser thing I'm going to take this question from a thread that I created a few weeks and got very little response:

What type of hairstyle would you recommend for a guy. I want something stylish but conservative! Maybe something like this http://evilbeetgossip.film.com/wp-co...e_crawford.jpg but I'm open to other ideas, just nothing OTT! Also would be good to hear what girls opinions are on a hairstyle.

(pics of hairstyles would be great aswell!)

    Ideas? Discuss!

I'm pretty much obsessed with my hair!:o I usually tend to go for spiked styles, my hair is fairly identical to the style in the first picture:

I'm afraid I don't really have a clue tbh. I've very thick black hair and upto
now have got 3 and 2 blades as it was always easy enough to make it look
decent and tidy. I've always gone to a local barber, paid €10. I want to go
somewhere a better, some of the suggestions above in DCC look useful
but I wouldnt know what to tell them in the shop! Found this on http://www.hotmenshairstyles.com/
