Need a new back box for my exhaust, Summerhill spares have none in stock and cheapest quote I'm getting to have one fitted is costing me €115 (fast fit). Is there any place in Dublin where I could get a new back box for cheaper? The car is a 96' Seat Cordoba btw.

    That isn't a bad price for a back-box, fitted.

Unless you go to a scrap yard, you're not going to get it much cheaper than that.

Aye I know but I'd rather get one and then get my mate to fit it and save myself a good €50+

Have to agree with that. Thats a decent price. Why would you want to get a second hand exhaust anyway - short life span and that;)

    id go with the fastfit.

All well and good if you have the money but when you're doing your leaving cert with no real income 'til the summer (hopefully:o) ya have to look for the cheapest option.

Plus that €115 is probably worth more than the car itself :o

If you want to do it as cheap as possible, try the breakers yards then - it should hold out long enough until you can afford a new one!

Did you try cpl motor factors in maynooth. They usually are fairly cheap and will beat a price if they can.
