Mercedes Service

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows of an independent mercedes service centre, by this i mean one thats not a mercedes dealer.

They need to have the Mercedes Star Diagnostics System as I want to make some configuration changes to my car such as factory satellite navigation retrofit and the main dealer isn't interested in coding it.

Can I just ask are Mercedes doing a special offer on a service at the moment, saw something advertised in the paper for around 199 euro...

Ya, It's just the dealer wont do it because they don't know how to do the coding and they weren't happy that i did all the hardware install myself saving myself money as it's about 500 quid there missing out on.

I mite have to drive to uk to get this done unless someone has the mercedes service equipment.

there was a thread about servicing VW/Audi the other day, somebody put up details of a mechanic that also does M Benz.
If you look back you may find your answer, sorry i can't remember any other details than this

There's a guy in Cork, David Kelleher AFAIK he's ex Turners Cross Motors. I'll PM his number to you. Only got it myself there a minute ago but he comes recommended and he apparently has software

Your location would help you get recommendations. Terry Jackson in Shankhill probably has all the equipment, but he is not cheap.
