Mac and Blackberry Bol

    My missus has recently got herself a blackberry bold. There are a few issues with it (constant 'pending' status with sms' etc...) all of which can apparently be remedied by updating to the latest device drivers...

    Now, I'm not a complete moron,granted verging-on, but I can usually manage these types of things, but for some reason I'm finding it devilishly difficult to update the blackberry's device drivers on my MacBook Pro/Imac. I've downloaded Pocketmac etc... but this doesn't appear to help with updating the device...

    The website only auto updates via a windows PC.....

    Anyone, with a higher IQ, had a similar issue and solved it...?

    Any and all advice greatly appreciated.

    *edit* That should be a 'Blackberry Bold' in the thread title..sigh more evidence of my technical ineptitude

    Are you trying to update the BB's firmware?

    If so, this can only be done using a Windows OS, although this can be done on a Mac if Windows is running on Bootcamp (and maybe on some of the emulators, but I've never had any success with them in doing a BB upgrade)
