    Hello,

I am doing a driving test on Friday and am told that I need to remove the tinted film from the passenger and driver's windows.

I imagine there is an easy and a hard way to do this :-)

    Does anyone have any tips?

    All help much appreciated.

I took some awful mirror tint off a mates windows a few weeks back, I just pulled off the plastic foil which left loads of adhesive and miiror behind on the window. I then damped the residue with HG sticker remover (available in Atlantic Homecare think it was 7 or 8 euro for the bottle) left it for a minute or two and then scraped off with a cheapy €1 scraper, again from Atlantic similar to this. Gave the windows a clean and away you go.

    Good luck with the test....

That sticker remover is great stuff.

Op, I'd get a hairdryer, and heat the tint first. Catch a lip of the tint and slowly peel it off, while heating it. Should come off easy enough.

    Thats brilliant - thanks.

I'll pop into Atlantic Homecare after work and get sorted.

    Thanks a million :)
