6.00 a.m. in the morning. It's getting a lot of runners, so be prepared for no sleep (although if you are at the business end of things you won't mind) it got 114 runners last month.

    Any results from this?

    it got 130 runners:eek::o:eek::o

Well 129 players and me, sigh....

had a brain fart with 4, 6 and then gave my remaining 4.5K to Des the bookie with pocket 2's

When I play poker badly, im bloody awful. I would say that anyone at the business end of things are still in bed...

    Any results from this?

    130 runners. €32k approx prizepool. 12 paid.

    10th Tom Kitt aka DaNutPeddlar
    8th or 7th Dom H aka 5StarPool
    6th Jimmy Wan
    5th R_J
    4th smoothcall

Final 3 were Mike (Celtic Poker Tour chief), blond Peter (Westbury Malahide reg) and a gentleman from Cork wearing a lucky blazer.

First prize was over €10k. Cork lad was giving it the "there'll be no deals this month" as I was leaving around 6am. Blinds were 5k-10k/1k ante with just under 1 million chips in play, so they may well be still playing ...

That was some cooler of a hand the final table. Blinds 2500/5000/500, UTG limps, R__J limps of the cutoff, Jimmy in the SB completes, BB checks.

Flop A42 (2 hearts I think). Jimmy checks, BB bets 22k, R__J raises to 50k, Jimmy ships for 210k, BB goes all in for 100k, R__J makes loads of weird/amazed/frustrated noises and eventually shoves his remaining 100k over the line.

Jimmy shows A2o, BB had 53o, R__J had 44. Sadly for me though, no one got knocked out.

I got lucky early, then built up a big tank, but from 3 tables out I couldn't get my stack going any further and moved up and down a bit with out ever doing much. Final hand I get my short stack in with A7 vs A4, and on a raggy board that the 7 was looking good to play on, he slikes a 4 on the river. Must have been the magic jacket from the Corkman.

Apart from the results, I enjoyed the game generally though. BB to my button all night was either Liam Flood, or Sean Prenderville or else Chubbs, so not much room for a lot of messing in that spot.

Dreadful performance by me. Managed to last about 5 hands when i donked off my chips on top 2 pair on the turn after it had been checked all round on the flop.

I went out at the start of level 2, utg limps cutoff raise to 1100 with 3 limpers in front to 1100, (blinds 50/100) so I ship knowing I'm well ahead of his over-raise preflop range, the utg starts acting and I know I'm in trouble he than ships his stack and cutoff says to hell with it and pushes.

So my QQ v's utg KK vs JJ, J on river and the shortstack wins the main pot and the KK gets the other 1/2 of my stack. Didn't mind the hand, but really hate the slowroll I got from the Asian dude with KK. Told him people get knock over for less. I just can't understand how people are such pr***s.

Anyway great show with 130 players.

Out in 15th place. Had 37kish. at 1500 3000 300 level. Raised to 11k with AsQs from late position. SB pushes for 24k. I call. He has AK, no help on the board.

Got my remaining chips in 2 hands later with 56 and got a call in the BB with A3. Hit a 5 but he hit an inside straight on the river.

Good tournament. Was card dead all night but managed to keep hanging in there.
