Ok, so in in the last few days Internet Explorer has been running very slow or even not at all at times. I use Vodafone Wireless broadband and if i have a HSDPA signal it works ok (but not as good as before) but if this drops, these problems occur.

I'm wondering if anyone has any possible solutions for this, as apart from this, my system seems to be running ok. I noticed that my C Drive is almost full but surely this would affect my entire system and not only IE if this was the problem... Any ideas?

You answered your own question. Its not broadband by the way, just a bit above a old 56k modem at the best of times.

From what you've quoted mate, i fail to see how i've answered my own question.... Do you mean i should try and clean my C-Drive?

Degag, use CCleaner to clean out your browser cache, see if that works.

    http://www.ccleaner.com/

CCleaner is also good for clearing out any cruft loitering in temp folders too, it should free up some space.

Free and safe to use, no piracy required. (but they do accept donations)

I would disagree with that statement, more like Dual ISDN plus some. I'm in a 'white' (officially not covered) are on the 3 network, south Dublin ..and I get up to 250kb down, upload though is non-existant. One thing the midband companies should provide is a sucker with a loop of some sort, so people can attach the modems to a window, useless otherwise..

Your 3g card is too blame. Depending on where you are and how many people are using that mast(radio interference) it can get pretty bad. Your C drive won't have a effect on your net browsing.

@Amalgam, without a upload its not broadband. With the packet loss well over 10% in most of Dublin its not broadband. With both a crap upload, loss of packets and very high latency even your basic internet browsing will be effected, not even going near things like gaming or VPN links to workplaces.

I don't think it's the 3g Card's fault because even though it may not be great in peak hours, it was never this bad and i'm experiencing these problems continiously.

Cheers Amalgam, i will download that tonight and try it.
