Was browsing Ford's website for the new KA and was amused to see the following in the specification listings..

Front fog lights (standard in Ireland only)

    http://www.ford.ie/Cars/NewKa/FeaturesandSpecifications

Says it all really, we get piss poor specifications compared to our UK and European cousins but hey that's ok because we get front fogs as standard!

Surprised Ford missed a trick by not having them wired to come on automatically....

I'd imagine many Irish buyers would prefer front fogs to the likes of ESP.

Perhaps its Ford Ireland's cunning plan to get rid of imports. After all who is going to bring in a KA from the UK if it hasn't got front fogs! :p

They're just trying to differentiate it from the Panda more, it hasn't got standard front fogs :P

I like the way it has "Manual Locking" and "Manual Windows" listed as standard equipment.

to be fair, all that's happening is Ford Ireland are giving the Style pack with the base models.

At least the front suspension is standard, I'd be pissed if I had to pay extra for it.

    Let's be fair here,

HERE is the Toyota specs sheet for the Aygo.

Whilst the Aygo Terra is no better equipped as a Ka style, they don't resort to listing things like front and rear suspension, bumpers, hazard warning lights, and paint as being standard - But I can assure you that All Aygos come with this suff.

What's the story with the hazard lights? Does that mean that if your house is on a hill and you have to use the handbrake, that your hazard lights will be on all night?
