Hope this is ok to post here..

    Not looking for medical advice!

Recently moved to Galway, can someone recommend a great Doctor and / Or Chiropodist.

I'm living around the City Centre / or out by Omniplex / Tesco S.C. Way.

I'd like one that doesn't brush you off with a prescription after 2 minutes.

    Thanks

There is a Doctor in Knocknakarra, known as Dr. Normal he won't brush you off with a prescription...he'll just tell you it's normal and send you packing. i'll look for his number...:)

Incidentally,Chiropractice is complete 100% bullplop that is about as useful as going to a spirit healer. If there is something wwong with you get yourself to a real doctor not a con artist. That is all.

I imagine the OP was looking for a chiropodist, not a chiropractor.

    Chiropodist - specialist foot doctor.
    Chiropractor - weird back manipulator

There might be someone here -->http://www.podiatryireland.com/index.cfm/loc/6/event/Location.Browse/locationNodeId/54578/directory/6/class/treeTitle/level/3.htm

As for doctors, I go to the one beside the uni, even if she did say I was a koala.

I must declare my vested interest up front but my other half is a chiropodist, she has a clinic in Doughiska (Thursdays/Fridays) and Oranmore (Mondays/Tuesdays). Of course I'm biased but she's very thorough and gives a good service for what she charges. PM me if you want the details!

Re a chiropodist I couldn't recommend Gary Burke highly enough. He's at Cooke's Corner in Shantalla, just opposite from where Cahill's shop used to be. He's a really nice guy and extremely good at what he does.
