What time must you be getting to be considered fast not super fast but to be considered as a good sprinter.
E.g anything below 12sec for men? anything below 11sec is very fast?
The time for u23 and seniors.

After trying a session of 100s, eh anything under 17 :D
I would have thought anything under 12 seconds is quite fast.

This is very hard to gauge. I'd say if you can run under 11.6 in good conditions that would be good. It won't win you many races etc but its a decent standard and will mean you are competitive which will help you get faster.

Comparing a sub 12 to road running to give perspective to a lot of the posters here would be a 34:51 10k or 2:57 marathon. Many here would be chuffed with numbers like that so in the general running public running a sub 12 100m is good. Running a sub 11 would equate to a 31:00 10k or a 2:33 marathon.

Ah chears Tingle, I am hoping to get 11.4* this year but I have stiff legs but I will get it checked and sorted before the u23 Leinster Competition.

Might be hard to get to Dublin on wednesday nights but the Graded Meets are good for competition. You will be graded per your time and will have a good chance of winning your race as they guys you are against will be the same standard. A lot of time you will run PB's when you are competitive and winning or challenging to win.
