Having watched almost every frame, yes indeed it is getting very hard to call, every player left feels they have a chance, i have never seen so many fist's in the air!! but the two that have impressed me much are higgins and selby and they meet today, mind you i have hendry backed so obviously i'll be rooting for him.

One player who only gets a mention behind higgins, selby and maguire and could win this is ryan day, he has'nt won a ranking tournament yet but has been getting closer in the last two seasons, could this be his maiden victory? remember Dott a few years back?

Whatever happens this is shaping up to be a fantastic final week in sheffield.

Have been keeping a close eye on the snooker online checking the scores etc but have not got much of a chance to watch it on TV. You only get to see an hour on BBC in the evening, wud live to have the RED button option for it. Looking forward to watching most of the semis and the final on BBC next weekend. Supporting Allen cause he's Irish and also Hendry as he is a bit of an underdog these days

I dont think he considers himself Irish judging by his union jack cue case
