Which shows are coming back for ABC?

    Or better yet: which aren't? Still no word on any of the network's first-year shows, but expect more Grey's Anatomy, Lost, reality.



    Showrunners across the country are biting their nails right about now, waiting to see if they will have a job next season or if their shows--their babies--will get cancelled. Well ABC made the first announcements today, revealing which of its lineup got an early renewal.

    What date/site are the rest announced next month?

    Howdy Dave... this info came out last week.

    The announcements (called upfronts, because it allows advertisers to buy ad time ahead of the network schedule) are announced during sweeps week in May (which is usually the third week in May). Expect official renewal/cancellation announcements in the days around the 20th May.

    Alot of cable channels have already had theirs, but for the main networks, here are the exact dates:

    NBC: May 4th
    FOX: May 18th
    ABC: May 19th
    CBS: May 20th
    TNT: May 20th
    CW: May 21st
