hi, I'm a second year trainee primary teacher and i am wondering if i can do subbing for the month of June as i would benefit from the experience. I heard something about a law that only qualified teachers are allowed to sub now.

No you can still sub the school should try to fill any vacancies with qualified teachers first, but to be honest I don't think they usually bother. You should hand you CV around as many shcools in your area as you can. Do it nearer June as they don't tend to keep cv's on file for very long.
