Junior road bike

    My youngest (10) has started to cycle with the club in his school.

    Anybody know where I would find a good second hand junior racer. I don't want to buy new in case he jacks it in a couple of weeks. Also - will grow out it pretty quickly.

    Have checked Buy and Sell, adverts.ie etc with no joy. Any good second hand shops in Dublin?

    Might be best contacting some cycling clubs that cater for young'uns ? The teenage lads might have grown out of their old bikes and have em for sale.

    I don't know of any specific clubs though.. The club members might know more

    Thanks for that - I have checked out the websites of any of the clubs that I know of and none seem to have sections with bikes for sale. I intend to call them tomorrow evening.
    I am on the south side of Dublin - besides Dundrum, Bray and Orwell, can anyone suggest other clubs?

    Just a thought... Orwell Wheelers do have a fair amount of young members. Maybe you could call out to Joe Daly's in Dundrum, or give them a call, they might be able to help you as they run the club.
