Hi, mods you can move this if ya think its in the wrong place , just figured people here would be most likely to know what the story is with this.

Me and a mate are thinking of going on a few days holidays to France to see some of the stages this year, we've nothing booked or officially planned yet so I was wondering is there any websites that could point me in the right direction regarding what the experience is like, i.e. possibility of camping for cheap/drinking at night etc.
Also were wondering about other stuff like transport to certain areas in a particular stage after you've put up the tent ,how does it all work etc

Were thinking of arriving for stage 16: Martigny > Bourg-Saint-Maurice stage and leave from Paris at the end.
Any help would be great.
