Has anyone had or attended a wedding in the Bloomfield House Hotel in Mullingar. We're looking at it, and would love to hear from someone who has been there.

Was there a couple of times but not for wedding. Food is good, good value but rooms are not. A bit old fashioned and the bridal suite is a bit dark (green paisley bed covers-ugh!). Smell of damp in the hallways around the rooms and the lift feels like it's gonna break down!
Views are lovely and staff very friendly, but there are better value packages out there for your wedding (in my opinion - my fiance was happy enough with it tho!)
Was sitting at window having lunch and the windowsill was full of dead flies - was early in the day so dunno why they hadn't bothered cleaning it - put me off a bit!
