Does anyone know where I can get an online copy of the report from the Newspaper Commission of 1995?

We were given a quotation from it in lecture notes, but I obviously can't cite lecture notes as a source for my essay, so I need to source the quotation I have.

    Can anyone help?

Have a chat with the NNI – they are sure to have a hard copy, as they were heavily involved. I think it was just pre PDF in terms of production – so hard copy is your only medium - unless someone has keyed it.

In terms of quoting – there are plenty of references to it on the net – which you could use (instead of the original). McCanns did a lot of work on it, Dep Of Enterprises and Dail debates etc ...

Try google search. Also try your local library. National Archive.
    You should locate it somehow.

If all you were looking for was the details so you could cite the quote you were given, then the sarcasm is misplaced... as found via google:
Report of the Commission on the Newspaper Industry (1996) Dublin: Stationary Office.
DCU, TCD, and UCD have copies of it in their libraries, and even smaller media colleges they should also have a copy.
