NCTS Contract, help?

Hey guys I seen it posted up before but can't find it. I'm looking for a link to their current contract with the RSA. I have booked a test but they couldn't give me a date till June. I read here this:
NCTS is obliged under its contract with the Road Safety Authority, to waive the €49 fee if drivers have to wait longer than four weeks for a test.

I want to find it in the contract and save a few pennies. Any help from those better in the know than I would be much appreciated as always. Thanks!

I would imagine given the current demand for testing that the above quote will have mysteriously disappeared over the last few weeks!

    website is showing the following

Due to the recent announcement, NCTS are currently experiencing an unprecedented demand in the number of people requesting a booking. Please be aware that our Call Centre is fully operational however, you may experience problems getting through to us and this is purely down to the volume of people trying to contact us, we do ask that you bear with us on this and that you keep trying.

For booking information please phone 1890 412 413.

NCTS do endeavour to contact as many car owners as possible and from the 1st January this year we have sent over 247,000 notifications regarding their NCT however, it should be noted that in some instances such as, change of ownership of the vehicle, if the vehicle is off the road or if the vehicle is out of tax that can affect whether a letter is issued for that vehicle. Therefore, we would encourage customers who have not heard from the NCT but feel their car is eligible for the NCT to contact us directly and we will arrange an NCT for them.

Although if it's written into their contract there's little they can do but honour it..... same thing happened in 2007

Was just looking at the NCT website - no real info on it now. They shouldn't be allowed take down the the site like that. If I recall, it's cars over 4 years old. Is that 4 years + a day, or does that mean 5 year old cars?

NCT due date is 4 years to the day of it's first registration.

I got a letter from the NCT for a date at the end of June.

Does that mean I will not have to pay?

Or will they deny all knowledge when I arrive

Could be wrong but as far as I remember if it's the first NCT of the car it's free.

You are wrong. First NCT is 50€, same as every other test.

I was lucky(or unlucky if a free test can be gotten) I booked mine in about 2 days before the announcement, and the first available date then was 2/3 weeks later (this week) I'm sure it must be longer now.
