Replacement dvd cases?

I bought a 2 disc dvd online and got it in the post today. However the box is slightly damaged and won't close properly. It's cracked at one of the two points at the side where it clicks together.

I contacted the online merchant but got no reply yet.

Is there anywhere I can get a replacement case? All I can find are 25 and 50 packs of case where I only need one. It's a double dvd case.

    Thanks for any help.

Buy one of those CD wallets - and throw out the cases.

As someone said, try a local video shop or anywhere that sells 2nd hand DVDs (like Gamestop). If you're there buying something tell em you got a DVD off them before and the case was broked, can you get a new one.

Some places usually sell empty DVD cases in 5 packs. Try Easons, Maplin, HMV, Powercity (anywhere that sells DVDs and DVD recorders) and any type of hardware shop.

I'm a real prick about this and I make no apologies about it. Whenever I get a DVD from an online retailer and the box has any damage to it I'll immediately send it back and demand a replacement (postage paid by them naturally). The disks could be playing fine and the box still display fine on my shelf but it'd irk me too much to know it was broken to just put up with it.

I'll even send them back if there's even a single one of those 8x disk-holder "teeth" around the spindle broken. The 'teeth' design might have been acceptable 25 years ago when the first CD boxes were release but in 2009 they really are a bad design concept and I wish the packaging people would disband them in all their various forms.

    Anyway, rant over.
