Can anyone advise on types of insurance available for sole-traders to limit liability?

    Thanks,

As axwell says, you probably need to give us a bit more info for a realistic response.

At a very basic level and depending on your individual circumstances the following might be relevant:

    - employer's liability insurance if you have any employees

    - public liability insurance if the public will have access to your place of business

    - professional indemnity insurace if you're in a professional employment (accountant, architect etc.)

    - income protection for yourself as a sole trader if for any reason you find yourself unable to work
