    Hi
I thought I would ask the question as I have to draw up a Data Protection Poilcy for my company and don't know where to start. I am aware of the 8 rules and the website is really helpful.
I was wondering what are other peoples experience with Data Protection? Have you a company policy? Have you been audited by the Data Protection office? In general what are the company experiences?

All input good or bad would be really appreciated!!

How big is your company? Are you online?

You definitely should have some data protection policy and awareness. Doesn't have to cost the world, just google a little and implement the best practices. No need to invent the wheel, unless you've an online business. Then PCI compliance etc becomes a massive deal.
