Media Player connection

Hello, Hoping someone can help! Anyone know how to connect a NTL (pace box) scart output into a media players RCA (red/yellow/white) input. Got a scart to RCA adaptor which phyisically connects up alright but no signal. Thanks!

make sure the scart adapter is either a) wired the right way for the direction you want or b) is switchable for input/output (and is switched the correct way)
