    Thinking of buying one of these for the bedroom.

    It has

    Digital TV Tuner DVB-T
    MPEG Decoder MPEG-2


    Any good? :confused:

    I like my 50PG3000. It's clean enough for a 720p TV.

    Beware the "digital tuner" - that's for UK Freeview, not Ireland's DTT. It'll pick up the 4 Irish channels on analog UHF, but if you want more you'll need Sky/NTL/Freesat/free satellite.

    I'm using a Lidl free satellite receiver with mine and have it connected by SCART - plenty of picture noise of course, but absolutely watchable.

    I'm using a Pioneer DV-410K DVD player for DVDs and pic is perfectly fine with that.

    FWIW, my 50" cost €750 delivered from Richersounds in Belfast.
