Seems this will be our toughest test yet against a team that has won their opening 2 games aswell. They beat Ketamine Rovers 3-2 and from last week they look a decent team so this will be a challenge but after last weeks attacking masterclass we should have plenty on confidence going into this.

Same ref as last weeks too gents.

    I'm iffy for this match.

If this bus strike continues, I have no way to get home after the match.

You might have to organise to wear white jersies or something.

Sure Geoff usually does that, it's getting home from town is the problem.

We made hard work of that, but an excellent three points there lads.

Art got touch on a Dave cross, after a good from Collie after about a minute. Could and probably should have had a couple more in the first half.

We found it a bit tougher in the second, and Clayton made a great save right at the death to keep them out.

Well done lads, we would have conceded at least one in that game in prior seasons, good fighting team spirit shown by all. Everyone did well. 100% effort from everyone.

Maximum points from our first three games too, and we're clear at the top after 1/6 of the season.

Tough game but excellent resillience shown by everyone. Two more tough games coming up but if we can get through those it'll be a fantastic foundation for the rest of the season.

great stuff lads, keep it up. our best start ever now to a season. 1-0 wins are something that very rarely happen on astro and to do it against a decent side is a good effort. from speaking to the lads, collie and conor were top notch again.

Yeh, nice grinding out of a great 3 points there lads. Strange game - you couldn't say we didn't play well but yet we weren't exactly firing on all cylinders either. I'd say we defended pretty well and didn't quite click going forward in the final third but we had a good control on the game and I got the feeling that we had it in us to up it a gear if needed.

One of those nothing games we won't remember anything about in 3 weeks but it's really important to chalk up 3 points in games like this and you can't argue with 9 out of 9 points particularly when we've been playing a little within ourselves.

We're now the team to beat and every team will be putting in that extra effort to grab points off us so we'll need to up it next week but a good night's work tonight.

What was the result in the last game Jules?

Definitely best way to describe it was hard work. Would have been really frustrating to draw 1-1, but we couldn't really complain if we had. So it's better to win 1-0 and forget about it.
