My son has a TV in his room for the playstation but he wants to watch TV also We have Sky downstairs but I'm not interested in running cables all over the shop so he can get Sky - basic RTE/BBC etc is all he needs/wants. Is there any reliable indoor aerial that will pick these up - I've seen some in Maplin & Argos that promise lots of things but do they actually deliver?
    Appreciate any feedback.

No they don't deliver any more than a basic indoor aerial. See the Sticky on it.

If the basic model(s) don't give a perfect picture you need aerial on roof or attic. Often an extension cable made from satellite coax and putting the aerial on the windowsill (indoors) makes a big difference.

You also need to know if your RTE1 & RTE2 is on VHF or UHF (TV3 and TG4 are UHF only).

    What area are you?

Hi Watty - I'm in Cork county, Kinsale direction. The basic rabbit's ears get a pretty snowy reception (rte1/2) so I was wondering if one of these fancy aerials would make things better.
    Cheers
