Where are the businesses?!

We're starting to see the recession taking its full toll. Businesses are going bust, people are losing jobs, banks aren't giving out any loans, taxes have gone up and we're in ****!

At this point I believe the only people who can save us from this is not the government but the local entrepreneurs. How can the government fight unemployment when they aren't any jobs? Thats why we need local entrepreneurs to set up new businesses which could create jobs and kick start the economy on its way out of this slump.

And that looks very unlikely with banks not giving out any loans and investors clenching tight to their money, for people to get a start at anything. But thats not the way of an entrepreneur. Where's the game when there's no risk? There is always money to be made, especially during bad times like this, if one knows where and how, he can make some serious money.

So what do you think is the reason why there are so few Irish businesses creating local jobs. A few number of ambitious and courageous entrepreneurs setting up a few innovative businesses stirring up micro economies in every city across Ireland and soon there will be no more employment and the recession will be over! We need many new small local businesses (with the potential to grow) to be set up for the creation of jobs and stop depending on huge foreign companies to come and save us. The Dragon's Den needs to be working harder in Ireland to keep the market busy. Socialism will not bring us out of this recession. Small local businesses running micro economies in every city is our way out.

Which is why the Government is trying to stabilize the banks. Not that bailing out banks will win you much favour, the good aul electorate cant look further than their own noses.
