MS Office question

    Hi All,

I recently bought a new laptop and I've just started loading all the programs I need onto it. I bought Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 a few years ago, which I used on my old laptop, and I want to put it on my new laptop but its the upgrade version which requires at least 1 microsoft office component on the system already. My last laptop came with MS Word so the upgrade worked fine but my new laptop doesn't have any MS programs on it.

Is there any downloadable MS programs that will suffice for the upgrade to work or do I need to buy another MS program?

    Any help appreciated. Thanks

Office upgrade edition can upgrade from a number of other products including msworks which comes with most Computers. You dont even have to install it. During the install of office it will ask you to insert a qualifing product. Stick in a works cd or floppy and off you go. :D
