Anybody have any experience/knowledge of setting up paintballing site/business?

Or comments on its viability in todays climate?

    Thanks....

The first thing that springs to my mind is, do you have a property in mind that is suitable for this activity? In Ireland these courses are generally in wooded areas. And while it is not essential it does add to the experience. Naturally it will will also need to be a large area, and located within commuter distance of a city.

Airsoft is where it's at in Ireland at the moment. It's gotten fairly huge in the last few years. Easier to set up as the guns don't require a license like paintball markers.

Have a look at the airsoft forum for info -

If you're still set on painball, www.paintballer.ie is the best place for any related info.

Centre of Munster striking distance of Limerick, Cork and Killarney.

Good land and great accesibilty. Curious as to how much the actual construction of the course would be and public liability insurance...

I presume just some hard graft would get the courses done. Check out other paintballing venues, websites etc. Yourself and a few pals could do it if you wanted to keep costs low. Hire/buy some tools, saws etc.

The public liability insurance would be a big one, I have no idea.
