Try holding in the odometer reset while restarting the engine. Works for a lot of manufacturers

If it is a flashing spanner on the dash this should work, it works for the Opel Vivaro so should be the same.

Hold foot down on the accelerator pedal to the floor. Keep it held. Turn on the ignition (so dash lights come on) and with accelerator still pressed, press the brake pedal hard 3 times.

thanks that worked.....another question is its 2 litre but I cant figure out which type the one that requires 6 litres of oil or 8 litres. Thinking myself its 8 by the quantity of oil that came out but its been a while since it was serviced....any advice on how to figure this out much appreciated...thanks

Looks like 4.8 litres for all engines from 2002 to present...
