Teletext on NTL digital

    I recently got the Digital Value pack from NTL. Is it possible to view teletext on this service (I have the small PACE settop box)?

    I was able to view it the first few days I had it using the tv rather than ntl remote but nothing since. There's no TEXT button on the NTL remote I got either.

    afaik you cannot get teletext on the digital channels but you can on the analogue ones.

    Teletext is carried on UPC - but a lot of channels don't have teletext or direct you towards the Sat version (eg BBC3/4) - small pace box

    Restarting the box often helps getting the text back.

    My text on digital frequently goes AWOL. I need to restart the STB; do it by pressing the help button and then the yellow (restart). Small Pace box also.

    I lose mine every 3-5 days, approx.

    Teletext doesn't work on cable/sat boxes which output in RGB. If you switch the box back to composite video the text will come in but it will reduce the picture quality.
