    Hi all,

About to start studying for my second attempt for P3. Haven't done any course so have no exams tips. Anyone been to courses and got any?
I would imagine there will be questions about the current economic crisis. Anyone have questions/answers about this? Have been looking for some but can't find any.
    Any help would be great?
    Thanks,
    Regan

Doing the exam myself. You shouldn't be placing too much emphasis on what is happening now. The exams were set months ago.

I'm searching the interweb for hints and stuff. If I find anything I'll post it.

Hi Guys, just wondering how you got on today?

I thought it was reasonably okay but I thought Section 1/ Question 1 was a bit messy. Found it difficult in the sense that specifically mentioned to reference the case study - that didn't always happen before. They often asked the same questions generally.

I did the CM restaurant question on internal controls and the IT strategy question. Hard to argue with them!

The waiting game has commenced. I have a strange feeling I'll fall just short!

    Best of luck!

    D.

LOL I needn't write anything....see above. Exactly the same for me.....the Section B questions were fine....just didn't like the Section A question.

Not being presumptuous or anything but does anyone know anything about doing the computer based TOPCIMA? Where can you do it and where can you do a course for it? Just want to know for whenever I pass that bloody exam!!

It can be done computer based as far as I know. Probably have to go to BPP! Not fully sure as I have to get all the other finals passed yet.

Let me give my few cents worth. I did paper based topcima last November and we had the option of doing the computer based exam (which was in September). therfore, you've much less time to prepare (IMO only of course). BPP ran both the computer based and paper based course. I improved a lot in answering questions on paper and wanted to stick with a winning formula. This is just my opinion.

Hey, best of luck to you guys above who did the paper! Fairly rough night with the sleep! I came in with a pass. The lecturer in DBS is a brilliant guy. Granted I did more work myself this time. Anyways hope you get on ok. Cheers. Mr Edge.
