Ugh, that hole of a car park. I never go there, to many times had I come back to my car to see its got a tip.

How did the marquee look, busy? Many faculties there? Kinda an odd place to have and open day, in a marquee, personally I think that gives a bad impression.

I bet the guides around campus never mentioned Nuns Island to ye! Thats where all us cool Electronic Engineers are isolated hang out!

Good turn-out. The marquee was well-located as there were more stands in the Orbson and IT buildings, right beside the marquee, minimising lost visitors :pac:

pretty good in fairness, was a pretty decent marquee in fairness and i think every faculty was well represented! the amount of books/leaflets/bags/pages that were there was mad, it must cost he college a fortune! we all went up to corrib and they showed us two apartments... oh shudder not a pleasant place!

And that was probably those apts on a good day. Picture them with a few windows broken! Oh, and did you know, you can lock yourself out of your kitchen in coirbe village! How retarded is that!

i know we came out and were thinking if they the best 2 in the whole place what are the rest like!! jesus and the paint on the doors is like a horrible blacky green oh jesus i think i will be looking for my deposit back seriously!

Ive seen some of the apts missing doors(broken doors), granted that was during rag week, or something like that, and it all depends where and who you live with.

If you were committed enough to come up for an open day on the weekend, I dont think your going to be a typical coiribe villager.

I love those table and chairs they have, reminds me of school! And those contraceptive couches! (though i think they changed the couches in the past 3 years or so).

Don't think there'll be another open day until late in the year, but nothing stopping you just wandering around the place if you want to get a feel for it? Of course you won't have all of the information stands etc, so you'll have to do all the research yourself, and it might help to get someone whos at college here to guide you.
