sloped ceiling insulation

Starting to insulate sloped ceilings this week. Was going to go with 4" rafterloc but Irish timber and grounds for slabs didn't make this too easy so decided to go . . . . .
    4" rockwool
1" xtraterm double foil sided board individually cut to fit tight between 6"rafters and flush with the ends (had a few of these left over) and as I have also a few extra insulated paperback slabs (37mm) the plan is to screw these to the bottom of the rafters to finish for ceiling skim. This will leave the ends of the rafters covered and 1" breathing space from the back of the rockwool to the breather membrane. Will be running this by the architect as well but any problems identified by anyone here with this set up appreciated.

    Thanks.

a 2" (50mm) ventilation space is required between the top of the insulation and the felt... 1" will not do...

theres also the possibility of 4" rockwool + 1" Pu board not meeting the minimum regulation standards....

you really should have all of you insulations specified before you start building, therefore youd know what depth rafters to use etc.... its cheaper to over size a rafter than purchase extra sheets of insulation board!!
