I'm from the Limerick area and would love to be a drummer. Does anyone give lessons? Or anyone willing to teach me?

not familiar with the Limerick scene, but drop by most Musical Instrument stores and they'd def send you in the right direction, as thats where most music schools/teachers would advertise.
If ya lived near Naas i'd teach ya!

    +1 It's a great website.

Check local papers, music shops etc for notices. Maybe put one up yourself. Might be quicker that way.

In the meantime there's a few videos on youtube that teach you easy beginner beats.
